Typing bureaus in the Square lead dogs' lives according to Dorothy Winthrop who claims that she and her colleagues are swamped with work during the two weeks in March before theses are due, and shunned during the rest of the year.
In a letter received by the CRIMSON and Dean Hanford. Miss Winthrop points out that neglect of the bureaus during the year forces them to earn their "total yearly income within a very short period of time."
Students do not understand the problem of the bureaus and are appalled at the prices quoted, says Miss Winthrop. She asks for practical suggestions for a solution of the "Problem of the Student and the Typing Bureau."
A check made by the CRIMSON revealed that other establishments in the Square encounter the same difficulty.
