Radio Series Started With Anderson Drama

"Second Overture," by Maxwell Anderson, will inaugurate a new series of half-hour programs to be given over the Crimson Network by the Harvard Dramatic Club at 9:30 tonight.

The first production will be a drama of the Russian Revolution of 1918 and presents in sharp contrast the stand of a sensitive liberal opposed to the harsh measures necessitated by any revolution.

Radio scripts written by students and dramatizations of short stories will be given in succeeding programs. The program is directed by William E. Robinson '43; S. Leonard Kent, 3rd. '43 and Jervis B. McMechan '43 are in charge of production.

Miss Priscilla Freeman will play the role of a Russian princess, and Richard Wiechman '43, Kent, and McMechan have the other leading parts in tonight's premier.
