VELIZAR D. STANOYEVITCH ENDS CAMPAIGN IN BLAZE OF GLORY

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Collecting the unprecedented total of 116 names on a nomination petition for the Lowell House Committee, Velizar Dragomir Stanoyevitch '42 brought his one man campaign to the end of its first step last night. The petitions normally require 25 names to put a man in the lists as a nominee.

Stanoyevitch, a comparative unknown a week ago, is now eligible to run in the House primaries, which the Lowell House Committee has announced will take place on Monday. However, it may well be put off, as the last time the House Committee announced a prospective deadline date for the electoral process, they ended up by postponing it a month.

A citizen of Jugoslavia, "Stan" is running on an independent ticket with a platform of a new ping-pong table, a House ping-pong tournament, and increased efficiency on the part of the House Committe.
