Preceding the annual spring vacation tour in the South, the University orchestra will make a three-day invasion of Pennsylvanian colleges this week-end, beginning with a return engagement tonight at Beaver College, which gave the musicians an enthusiastic reception last year.

In this first trip of its size outside of vacations, the orchestra will also give concerts at two other colleges near Philadelphia, Franklin and Marshall, and Swarthmore.

Four Virginia colleges will be host to the orchestra during the vacation. Mary Washington and Mary Baldwin Colleges, the State Teachers College at Farmville, and Sweet Briar.

The group will also participate in a Virginian statewide musical festival along with the Harvard Glee Club, the Duke University Men and Women's Glee Club, and the Choral Society of the State Teachers College.
