Elected by the votes of Harvard undergraduates, Susan Simonds became the Queen of the first Boston Cotillion last night at the dance held for the benefit of the Phillips Brooks House at the Hotel Somerset.
Miss Simonds, whose father and brother are Harvard men, was "attended" by four maids of honor, Helen Farnsworth, Elizabeth Sears, Jean Roberts, and Ruth Robb.
The Cotillion, the first to be held in Boston, was organized by a group of Sophomores who hope that it will become an annual affair. The "coronation" was presided over by John B. Reece '41.
