Fogg Sponsors New Spring Activities

Three lectures and six new exhibitions will be sponsored by the Fogg Art Museum throughout the months of March and April, it was announced yesterday.

Professor Henriquez Urena will give a Norton Lecture, the last of the series, on "Problems of Today," on March 4. Dore Levi, recorder for the Princeton Excavation at Antioch, will speak on "The Mosaics of Antioch," March 18 and will talk, two days later on "Antioch Mosaics with Problems of Interpretation."

In March the main exhibitions will be of illuminated manuscripts from the library of J. Pierpont Morgan '89, paintings of the Barbizon School, American water colors of the nineteenth and twentieth centuries, and examples of Chinese and Japanese woodblock prints from the seventh century to 1940 and the tools used to make them.

During April the Graphic Art of Goya and water colors by Prentice Duell of Etruscan wall paintings from the fifth century tombs at Tarquinia will be the main exhibits.
