Appointments Enlarge Medical School Staff

Nine appointments to the research and teaching staffs of the Harvard Medical School, School of Public Health, and the College; were announced by the University yesterday, as follows:

Effect January 1, 1941:

Dean S. Fleming, of Brookline, Mass., as Assistant in Epidemiology; John F. Sheehan, now at Cambridge City Hospital as Teaching Fellow in Roentgenology and Alex J. Steigman, now at Children's Hospital, Philadelphia, as Research Fellow in Epidemiology.

Effective February 1, 1941:

Enrique Egana, now at Boston City Hospital, as Research Fellow in Medicine; Fernando Huidebro, as Research Fellow in Physiology; and Carl A. Meyer, now at Massachusetts General Hospital, as Research Fellow in Anaesthesia.

Effective March 1, 1941

William L. Hawley, now at Peter Bent Brigham Hospital, as Assistant in Medicine.

Effective February 3, 1941:

William B. Coolidge, of Medford, Mass., as Teaching Fellow in Govern ment and Tutor; and Frederic W. Swift, '32 of West Newton, Mass., as Teaching Fellow in Psychology.
