Yardling Hoopsters Oppose Northeastern Here Tonight

Coach Al McCoy will send his Yardling quintet in search of its third straight win tonight at 7:30 o'clock in the Indoor Athletic Building against a Northeastern team coached by a former pupil of his, "Foxey" Flumere. McCoy coached Flumere during his seven year stay at Northeastern from 1929 to 1936.

The Huskie freshmen will be playing their first game of the season tonight. Last year Harvard decisively defeated them 49 to 26. But Northeastern has a couple of boys on their team this year way over six feet, so they may give us more trouble.

Satisfied with his winning combination, McCoy is going to start the same team that defeated MIT and Brown. Dean Hehnessey and Frank Bixler will be at the forward positions, Mike Keene at center, and Mike DeLeo and Dick Richards at the guard posts.

The Crimson Freshmen have made a good average on their foul shots so far this season. Hennessey's eight straight charity throws have been an important contribution to the team's excellent average of around 65%.
