Although the author of its new show leaves for the Air Corps soon, the Pi Eta Club is going ahead with its seventy-second annual Spring production.
David Conroy 2L, who is writing this year's musical comedy for the Club, will finish his work before the leaves, so fears that his departure would thwart the execution of the show are alleviated. For the musical portion of the book, James Lynch '42, who contributed a few of the tunes last year, has been composing most of the songs to equal his former successes.
Officials of the organization expect that the try-outs for parts, which start after mid-years, will be crowded despite the national emergency. And they are even using the war, in its lighter aspects such as Bundles for Britain for the motif of the book.
To be presented one week before Spring vacation in the Pi Eta building, the show will be the first effort of its new officers.
