Peabody Completes a Sweep Of All-American Selections

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

The Associated Press surprised no one yesterday, when, in selecting its All-American eleven, it chose as one of its guards oft-honored Chub Peabody, Crimson bulwark.

Last such All-team to appear in the nation's presses, the AP awarded six other Harlowmen with honorable mention: Loren MacKinney, triple threat end, both tackles, Tom Gardiner and Vern Miller, center Johnny Page, and backs Don McNicol and Captain Franny Lee.

Peabody thus completed a sweep, having been named on every major All-eleven published since the close of the season.
