Freshman Committee Gives Entertainment and Presents

Sixteen underprivileged boys selected by the Cambridge Welfare Society will have their share of Christmas cheer when the Freshman Committee of Phillips Brooks entertains them at a party Wednesday afternoon.

Besides receiving warm mackinaws, heavy sweaters and leather jackets, the children, ranging from seven and a half to twelve, will enjoy Santa Claus, a magician, and a planist.

George M. Burditt '44, last year's Chairman of the Freshman Committee, helped this year's members formulate the plans adopted at a meeting last night. Setting the mood for subsequent action, the Wednesday gathering will be the first official task of the group.
