Sixteen underprivileged boys selected by the Cambridge Welfare Society will have their share of Christmas cheer when the Freshman Committee of Phillips Brooks entertains them at a party Wednesday afternoon.
Besides receiving warm mackinaws, heavy sweaters and leather jackets, the children, ranging from seven and a half to twelve, will enjoy Santa Claus, a magician, and a planist.
George M. Burditt '44, last year's Chairman of the Freshman Committee, helped this year's members formulate the plans adopted at a meeting last night. Setting the mood for subsequent action, the Wednesday gathering will be the first official task of the group.
