Pan-American Society Begins Broadcasting

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Broadcasting over the Crimson Network last night the Pan-American Society of Harvard launched the first blast of a triple-barreled radio campaign designed to foster goodwill toward the college among the Latin Americans and to stimulate Harvard's interest in Pan-Americanism.

Simultaneously, E. Bernard Fleischaker '42, president of the society, announced completion of preliminary arrangements with New England's two rival shot wave stations, WBOS an affiliate of N.B.C. and WRUL over which Latin Americans will be given an opportunity to broadcast short wave to their homelands. The Society's November 14 reception will be covered by WBOS.

The programs will be handled by F. Cameron Ludwig, '42 executive secretary of the organization, aided by Morris T. Obregon '42 of Columbia.
