With all the glamour of a Hollywood premiere, a festive pre-game ball to be held at the Copley Plaza, will be the social highlight of the Yale weekend. Proceeds from the affair will go to various U.S.O. headquarters is the east.

For many weeks various committees of undergraduates, debutantes, and alumni have been working long hours preparing for this event. Most of the many featured will be kept a secret for the present, but it has been revealed that three nationally famous orchestras will play for dancing.

The entire upper level of the spacious Copley Plaza ballroom will be transformed into a typical South American bar with plenty of space to lounge about and watch the many stage and screen stars perform during the evening.

For the benefit and enjoyment of those who like a bit of conga mixed in among their foxtrots, a nationally famous rhumba band will play.
