Battle of the Cheerleaders Is Only Saturday Defeat

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Only injury in the Harvard-Princeton football game last Saturday was suffered by William Young '42, valiant Leader of the Cheers.

Vainly fighting to save the Megaphone Brigade, Williams came whimpering home to Cambridge with a scratched face and innumerable bruises inflicted by the claws of the Tiger. And to add insult to injury, Princeton had captured three of the megaphones, while the driving rain ruined the other four. Today, the H. A. A. re-outfitted its ranks with seven braud new shout-carriers.

Recovered and undaunted by the defeat, the Cheer King hastened to hint that movies of the Princeton game would be shown Thursday night, and a rally is on deck for Friday night in the Varsity Club Quadrangle. Definite announcements, he said, would be made tomorrow.
