Two extra-League games will be played on Soldiers Field, beginning at 3:15 o'clock this afternoon when the C averly Clippers meet a Bellboy outfit that is sitting comfortably on the top of the House pile, and the erst-while unbeatable Kirkland eleven takes on the '45 seconds.
It looks likes another victory for Lowell, in spite of the Clippers' upset win over the Dudley Ramblers last week. The Bellboys should pull off an attack that the Saltonstallers will be unable to stop, but the Dormitory team has been improving steadily, and may make a real battle of it.
As for the other game; it appears as though the Deacons will hop back into the win column with this one. They have been beaten twice in a row, once by Adams, and last week by Lowell, and should be sharpening up their teeth for their game with the Ramblers on Friday at the expense of the Yardlings.
The Eliot Elephants will battle Dudley on the touch-field this afternoon, while the Gold Coasters are clashing with Winthrop in the soccer league.
