Organization of Tutorial System Now Being Studied

Electing 21 Juniors and three Seniors, the Student Council Committee on Curriculum and Tenure has begun this year's activities of investigating undergraduate educational problems.

The Juniors who have been chosen and their fields of concentration are Benjamin N. Barksdale, Psychology; Ralph B. Bennett, Literature; Jean de Chadenedes, Geological Sciences; Kieran P. Culliton, Romance Languages; Frank Dardeno, Philosophy; Donald H. Eldredge, Jr., Biology; Richard P. Gifford, Mathematics; Richard L. Hall, Chemistry; J. Michael Harrington, Jr., Classics.

Also Walter B. Kamp, Anthropology; Herbert J. Kramer, English; Perry D. LeFevre, History; William W. Pinney, Jr., Engineering Sciences; Allen D. Sapp, Jr., Music; C. Bradley Sageman, Biochemistry; Richard B. Seymour, Sociology; Mark P. Schlefer, History and Literature; Paul C. Sheeline, Government; John L. Stephenson, Physics; Anthony R. Whitemore, Fine Arts; and Alan M. Winnick, Economics.

The newly elected Seniors on the committee are Benjamin M. Hazard, Literature; Wilfred M. Kluss, Psychology; and Jack M. Peterson, Physics.

Investigation has begun on the possibilities of better organization of the tutorial system, and the development of closer relations between students and tutors.
