Ames Competition

About 350 persons saw the Powell Club take the semi-final round of the Ames competition in the Law School last night. Represented by Austin Broadhurst 3L and Norman L. Gill 3L, the Powell Club was one of 65 organizations to enter the competition in the first year of Law School. The Edward Warren Club was the defeated semifinalist.

The Hon. Oliver W. Branch, Justice of the Supreme Court of New Hampshire, the Hon. Edward C. Turner, Judge of the Supreme Court of Ohio, and the Hon. Arthur F. Elis, Judge of the Supreme Court of Errors of Connecticut, were the court.
