No Ann Sheridan After All; Boy Waits 2 Hours in Hopes

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

In spite of all prevailing hopes, fears, doubts, and reports over the weekend, Sheridan is still 20 (or more) miles away, and, apparently, has never got any nearer than that.

The story went that the famous Nannie, recently made an honorary editor of the "Advocate," would be here for the game, and would liven up the magazine's brawl after the fray. In fact, the report was so persistent that a young man, not more than 10 years old, waited for over two hours outside of the "Advocate's" offices on Mount Auburn Street on the chance of getting a look at the famous profile.

However, he was disappointed, as were all, when she failed to show up, and wandered mournfully away.
