He was formerly editor of the newspaper "El Sol," and has been a professor of history and political science.
To Speak at Varsity Club
Although he is in this country as a guest of the U. S. House of Representatives, Senor and Senora Taborda will be the University's official guests today and tomorrow after they have arrived by plane from New York this afternoon.
Miss Agnes Mongan, keeper of drawings in the William Hayes Fogg Art Museum, will meet them as they land at the East Boston airport. When they arrive here, they will be welcomed by Dean George H. Chase.
This evening, Senor Taborda will speak as guest of honor at a dinner in the Faculty Club attended by Dean John H. Williams of the Graduate School of Public Administration, members of the Faculty of the school, the Littauer Fellows, and the Nieman Fellows.
