The Council of History and Literature Concentrators will initiate its program for this year tomorrow night when it presents a discussion of American literature in the twenties. Faculty members will lead the discussion, which is to emphasize the role played by Bernard de Vote in recent-day criticism. An informal question period will follow the formal discussion, which is to be held in the Lowell House Common Room.
F. O. Matthieaaon, associate professor of History and Literature; David E. Owen, associate professor of History; Wallace E. Stegner, Briggs-Copeland instructor in English composition; and Irving R. Wechslk, instructor, in English, will lead this year's forum.
