"Arsenic" Cast Risks Advocate Punch Friday

Noted Elderberry Poisoners Will Sip Litterateurs' Brew

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

From the same punch-bowl that has refreshed celebrities from Anna Held to Tallulah Bankhead, the editors of Mother Advocate will serve a new arsenic-laden punch to the leading murderesses and their accomplices in "Arsenic and Old Lace" at 4 o'clock this Friday in the Bow Street Sanctum. Guests who prefer elderberry wine must bring their own.

The oft-applauded guests of honor, Laura Hope Crews, Effie Shannon, Eric von Stroheim, Jack Whiting, and Forrest Orr will arrive at Cambridge in the Business Board's black limousine, since the Advocate's barouche, in which the editors once drew Barbara Hutton from the Back Bay Station, is being renovated for Ann Sheridan who will be entertained by the Advocate Board next month.

Two score Boston debutantes, Faculty literati, officers of the CRIMSON and Lampoon, and the old intelligensia will welcome the stage celebrities. We gather from Mlles Baronova, Toumanova, and Riabouchinska, last year's featured guests, that the Bow Street Palace is just like "a little bit of New Russia."
