Harvard Avukah begins its 16th year of activity with a smoker for new and old members at Phillips Brooks House tonight at 7:30 o'clock. Mr. Seymour Melman, National Executive Secretary, and Avukah Palestine Fellow 1939-40 will speak on "A Program for Jews in a World at War." The plans for the year's activities will be discussed.
During the year Avukah will conduct study, research and youth leadership groups, a speaker's bureau, and a pamphlet service, and will participate with other New England chapters in conferences, dances, and the annual cooperative summer school camps.
