To the Editor of the Cornell Sun:

Will Cornell men have the charity to remember that the Harvard Crimson in no way expresses the opinions or beliefs of Harvard's graduate thousands? There is even sound hope that it is not the voice of the undergraduate body as a whole.

The editorial ill-breeding of the Crimson has for years genuinely embarrassed Harvard men everywhere. I am willing to bet that most of us sharply disagree with most of its conclusions. More important, we seriously question their honesty.

It may be remembered that many a child, desiring attention, will often give evidence of manners so bad that not only the bystanders are shocked, but the child itself.

The bad manners of the case in question need no comment. It is merely regrettable that they achieved their purpose.

Cornell has a good football team. Well, we Harvard graduates wish that we had one too. Freeman Lincoln ('24).
