Confirmation of the report that George N. Hurd '42 has been named head crew coach of Boston University was made last night by Dr. Daniel L. Marsh, president of the university, and J. M. Harmond of the athletic department. Hurd will meet the crew aspirants on Tuesday afternoon at the Hayden Memorial Building and has hopes of getting some work accomplished on the river before cold weather sets in.
