Dick Harlow, Varsity football mentor, was elected third vice-president of the American Football Coaches Association at the group's annual convention in New York last week. "Fritz" Crisler of Michigan was chosen president.

Harlow spoke at the meeting on problems of public relations, urging the spreading of football knowledge and safety through lectures and demonstrations. He suggested better press relations and several changes in weighing-in an the numbering of jerseys and condemned the use of movies to find errors of officials.
