Man Who Managed Clients for High-End Cambridge Brothel Network Pleads Guilty
Seventeen members of the Varsity track team will compete in a Veterans of Foreign Wars meet at the Boston Garden tomorrow.
Bob Trainor and Doug Pirnie, who ran in last year's meet and ran ten flat in the 100 yard dash against Yale, are entered in the 50-yard sprint. Don MacKinnon, who took fourth last year, and Tom Goethals, who sprinted in the 1940 contest will attempt the high hurdles.
Ted Graves, Rolla Cambell, and Larry Corbett will race the 600-yard event; while Joe Scott and Bob Houghton, who ran the mile last year, are in the 1000-yard run. In the high jump are Bob Partlow, John Bunker, and Mike Zara; Kay Rogers and John Sopka are running the mile.
Captain Don Donahue has entered the invitation 45-yard high hurdles. In the pole vault event are Chester d' Autremont and Mitchell Ford, who reached 13 feet at the Garden last year. Trial heat and semi-final events will be held in the afternoon and all finals in the evening.
