POWELSON '38 EATS SEVENTH ANNUAL FREE MEAL AT UNION

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Stephen V.N. Powelson '38, former CRIMSON editor and noted Leverett House wit, last night drove to Cambridge from New York to eat his seventh annual free meal at the Freshman reception in the Union.

Powelson liked the buffet supper served him at the beginning of his Freshman year back in 1984 so much that he has been coming back for more ever since. After graduation he attended the Law School and then the Graduate School of Arts and Sciences.

Powelson was accompanied last night by John P. Powelson '41, who is following in his brother's footsteps despite the fact that he was unable to attend the function last year. Neither of them stay to listen to the speeches.
