Davison Is Honored at Testimonial Banquet

Dr. and Mrs. Davison Given Silver Platter at Dinner Last Monday

A testimony to Archibald T. Davison '05, Professor of Music, on his retirement as organist and choral director of Memorial Church was given by the Sunday Congregation at the Faculty Club last Monday evening.

Professor Davison will retire from his duties as organist after serving in that post for thirty years. He will devote his future time exclusively to his work in the Music Department.

Dean Sperry Presides

Dean Willard Sperry of the Divinity School and Chairman of the Board of Preachers presided at the dinner at which the Rev. Frederick Robertson Griffin, Minister of the First Church, Unitarlau, in Philladelphia and preacher at the services in the Appleton Chapel this week also spoke.

The testimonial dinner was attended by over 130 members of the congregation. A silver platter was presented to Dr. and Mrs. Davison by Deau Sperry.
