Yardling Lacrossemen Taken by Dummer Ten

Brauns Lone Scorer in 15-1 Defeats Sosman, Wright Chosen Co-Captains

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Severely handicapped by poor equipment and lack of experienced men, the struggling Freshman lacrosse ten again met miserable defeat yesterday when it bowed to Governor Dummer 15 to 1. Bob Brauns, substitute for ace midfielder Bill Rand, scored the lone goal.

Forced to play defensively throughout the game, Coach Tom Campion's men never really had a chance to do consistent scoring. Although there was no outstanding performer for the Freshmen, Hill was the star of the game, bagging five goals for the victors.

At a meeting of the team before the game, Johnny Sosman and Bill Wright were elected co-captains. Sosman is the high-scoring star center, while Wright defends the nets. Next Tuesday, the team meets M.I.T.
