Attacking the conditions in the R.O.T.C., the Chairman of the Civil Liberties Committee of the Harvard Student Union yesterday sent a letter to the C.I.O., A. F. of L., American Youth Congress, American Student Union National Office, and Senator Robert M. LaFollette.
The letter calls for immediate nation-wide investigation of the R.O.T.C. "That the officers of the Army would use their position to force their own political ideas on their students is bad enough," said the letter. "Even worse, however, is the denial of opportunity in the Army to American citizens merely because they hold the 'incorrect' views."
