The Crimson Varsity golf team will fire its first shots in league play this weekend, meeting Brown and Dartmouth today and tomorrow in Manchester, N. H. The other three teams in the Northern half of the Eastern Intercollegiate golf circuit are Yale, Holy Cross, and Williams.
The six men slated to play against the Bruins are Ace Cordingley, Watty Dickerman, Bob Graves, Gerry Davis, Don Peddie, and Pete Macgowan. Jack McCann, Ted Allis, Don Elbel, and Bill Meish will also make the trip and may break into the lineup for tomorrow's match with the Indians. Harvard needs to sweep the two matches in order to have a good chance to lead the Northern half of the league.
