Seeking to aid students in preparing for finals, the '43 Union Committee is again sponsoring a series of seven free reviews in some of the larger Freshman courses.
In 1936 the Union Committee started the custom of helping Freshmen before midyears, an experiment which has proved so successful that it has been continued ever since. The purpose is not to cover the complete work of the course in an hour and a half for those who have done none to date, but rather to help out those who have trouble in reviewing for exams or have specific questions to be cleared up.
Since section men or lecturers in their respective courses will conduct the free sessions, they will be more familiar with the material and students needing help than any outsider and in more of a position to give real assistance, the committee in charge of reviews believes.
The Committee consists of Adelbert Ames III, '43, Anson G. McCook '43, and George E. Putnam '43.
