YARDLINGS MARCH ON TECH TO GET ROCHESTER CULPRITS

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

About fifty students, mostly Freshmen, marched on M. I. T. around eleven o'clock last night to retaliate for the Rochester kidnaping Tuesday. They were met by a strong contingent of engineers.

The irate Yardlings intended to chastise the culprits who waylaid the dusky star of the Freshman Smoker. Most of the chastising was done by the Tech boys who outnumbered the Crimsonites four to one.

The result of the fracas in front of the M. I. T. fraternity houses on Memorial Drive was: three pairs of pants were forcibly taken from Yardlings and there was a field day for the Boston press photographers.

The Metropolitan District Police broke up the stripping party at midnight and gave the decision to the engineers.
