Abbot Captains Freshman Fifties

John R. Abbot, Jr. '43 of Cambridge, has been elected captain of the Freshman one hundred and fifty pound crew. This spring he has stroked Bert Haines' boat to victories over M.I.T. Yale and Princeton. At Noble and Greenough, where he prepared, Abbot was co-captain of the school four, and last fall he won his football numerals.
