FORMER LAW SCHOOL STUDENT JOINS CANADIAN AIR FORCE

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Richard Patterson, Law School student last year, from Richmond Virginia, has enlisted in the Canadian Air Force training school at Toronto. He is one of three United States citizens in the class of 169 airmen.

"My family should be hearing about me entering the Air Force any day new," said Patterson. "I wrote them yesterday. Yes, I just up and quit school for this."

When asked why he had joined the corps, he replied, "Why?--well, why are all those Canadians in training here with us?"

His American companions were more explicit about their reasons, saying that they "wanted to take a crack at those Nazis."
