STUMP THE EXPERT?

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Since Mr. Walsh was hired to look over the Dining Halls, orders have gone down to the waitresses to stop wastage of bread, butter, and vegetables. This waste was the worst feature of the Dining Halls, according to the Student Council Food Report. There are two ways in which the orders against waste may be interpreted: as a means to fool the efficiency expert, or as the result of a sincere desire to remedy obvious evils as soon as possible, expert or no expert. If the first is true, the College may expect the old troubles to return as soon as Mr. Walsh leaves. If the second, Harvard will soon be getting its money's worth in food and service in the Halls.
