Corporal Russell E. Hoyt Post, Veterans of Foreign Wars, announced last night that James Tobias '41, of Dunster House and Freemont, Ohio would be honored with the Post's first annual citizenship award for his attempt to save Lenna Levins, three-year-old baby from drowning in the Charles River on March 14.

The post commander expressed the hope that the award would improve relations between the veterans' organization and Harvard men. Last year the post's Memorial Day exercises were marred by the sniping by a Harvard student with an air rifle.
