HUA Election Will Feature No Referenda or Survey Questions
Spurred on by a Union Committee poster asking for "likely Alee Templetons, Bing Crosbys, Mischa Auers, and Mortimer Snerds," Freshman performers will have ample opportunity to display their talents in the Amateur Hour in the Union tomorrow night.
Boasting skill at shelling peanuts, singing, dancing the hula hula, strip teasing, and being a Harvard man, some twenty Yardlings have signed up for the contest.
Max Keezer and Kendric N. Marshall '21, instructor in Government and secretary of the Union, will judge the contestants and award cash prizes of $5, $3, and $1 to the winners and an undisclosed body prize to the loser. Peter B. Saltonstall '43 will take the floor as master of ceremonies.
