Coach Johnnie Witherspoon's lacrosse ten will open its home season tomorrow afternoon at three o'clock when it meets the Springfield stickmen on the field behind the Business School. In view of his team's promising showing on the spring tour of the South, Witherspoon expects great things of his squad.

With very few veterans graduating last year, the boys shaped into an experienced and well balanced team with good potentialities. Pete Zouck, Gordy Halstead, and Doug Anderson will be the main threats on the attack, while Jess Willard and Dave Gilbert can be counted on to give strong support backed by Goalie George Hanford.
