Fifty dollars a week and a good chance for a contract in movie scenario writing has been offered by the M. G. M. studios to college graduation who can write good dialogue.
Each year these studios give a six months course in the adaption of short stories, plays, and novels, to the screen. The ranking men are given contracts immediately.
Of the eleven men and women admitted to the course last year, two Harvard graduates, Hunter Hendree '39, and Alfred Eisner '39, were given contracts. This year five or six Seniors may apply for the course.
Applications will be made through the Alumni Placement Office according to Donald H. Moyer Assistant Director. Candidates must be skilled in the writing of dialogue, and must have references from the Faculty.
