Crimson Rugby Players Practice in Briggs Cage

Team Hopes to Include Chicago Club on Season's Schedule

The Harvard rugby team, composed of graduate and undergraduate students alike, was left virtually intact by last June's graduation and is already practicing in Briggs Cage Twice a week under Dr. Cabot's direction.

Last year the rugby team was undefeated and had a strong claim on mythical national championship honors, disputed only by the Chicago rugby club. The Crimson squad hopes to arrange a meeting with the Windy City outfit this spring to settle national supremacy and it seems likely that the match will be arranged. The Chicago squad has two great individual stars in Jay Berwanger and Clint Frank on the roster.

The rugby team practices from 5 to 6 o'clock on Tuesdays and Thursdays in the cage in informal sessions. A seven game schedule, including Yale, Princeton, and Cornell has been drawn up, and there may be later additions to this.
