David A. Goldthwait, of Medfield and Wigglesworth Hall, has been named chairman of the Jubilee Committee, while John Richardson, Jr., of Milton and Massachusetts Hall, will head the Smoker Committee. They have the power to add more men as their assistants.

Charles G. Rodman and Carroll Binder, Jr., whose names were accidentally omitted from the ballot, were appointed to the Jubilee and Smoker Committees, respectively.

The Union Committee, assisted by Langdon P. Marvin, Jr. '41 and Harvey C. Taylor, Jr. '42, and advised by Kendric N. Marshall, last night added eight Freshmen by appointment, although the elected men still form the majority on both committees.

Rodman, Jack H. James, Maxwell Kaufer, John W. Morgan, and Roger Smith were appointed in addition to Robert G. Axtell, Richard Harte, Jr., W. Gordon Lyle, Donald E. McNicol, and George E. Putnam, Jr., who were the elected members of the Jubilee Committee.

Binder, Thomas R. Goethals, and Raymond W. Guild, Jr. were added to the elected men, Thomas Matters, Peter B Saltonstall, and Paul C Sheeline, on the Smoker Committee.
