TUFTS' UPSET GIVES UNDERDOG VICTORY CHANCE

A heavily favored Dartmouth hoop team will engage the Crimson Varsity fresh from its upset victory over Tufts last Saturday in the indoor Athletic Building tonight. This game in the first home contest in the Eastern Intercollegiate League for the Crimson who have split their other two League games.

With four of their five starting players ranking among the top seven League scorers, the Big Green brings one of the tallest and probably the best Eastern teams to town.

Headed by Gus Broberg who has scored 60 points in the first four League encounters, the Dartmouth forward wall also includes Charlie Pearson, football center, who has scored 40 points, and Jim Sullivan, rangy center, with 32 points. At guards are Bill Palmer and Captain Bob White.

Coach Wes Fesler will start the same team that came out from the examination period to upset Tufts 40-38. At forwards will be Chuck Lutz and Bill Webber, while Sam White, the only man over six feet, will hold down the center berth. Sophomore ace Ed Buckley, who caged 16 tallies Saturday, will pair with his classmate Bud Finegan at the guards.
