Harvard's six-man track delegation came through just about as expected in the annual Millrose games at New York Saturday, and brought back its share of the bacon.
In the Big Three mile relay the Crimson placed second to a strong Princeton outfit with a time of 3:25.6. The Tigers' time was 3:23, while third-place Yale made it in 3:27.8. Don Donahue ran first in 52.8, Hobie Lerner second in 51, Joe Donnelly third in 51.3, and Jim Lightbody fourth in 50.5.
Steve Madey reached 13 feet in the pole vault, while Donahue took fourth place in the finals of the 60-yd. high hurdles. Tolmich won this event. Captain Shields of Yale placed second, and Dugger of Tufts took third.
