Etienne Gilson Will Lecture About "God and Philosophy'

Four Talks by Professor of College De France Scheduled

Professor Etienne Gilson, of the College de France, Director of the Institute of Medieval Studies of the University of Toronoto, will give a series of four public lectures at the University next month on the subject "God and Philosophy," under the auspices of the Department of Philosophy.

The schedule of lectures will be: March 11, "God and Greek Philosophy;" March 15, "God and Christian Philosophy;" March 18, "God and Modern Philosophy:" and March 22. "Contemporary Thought and the Problem of God." The lectures will be in Emerson Hall D. Harvard Yard, at 4:30 o'clock.

Dr. Gilson noted scholar of the history of Philosophy, was recipient of one of Harvard's honorary degree awards at the Teroenenary celebration in 1936. He has been here previously as Exchange Professor and as William James Lecturer on Philosophy.
