Fulfilling expectations, the Varsity fencing team overpowered Bowdoin Saturday afternoon at the Indoor Athletic Building by a score of 13 to 5.

The Crimson won the foil division, 8 to 1, as Captain Labastie and Joe Koch starred for the home team. Frank Pastorius led the epee group in which Harvard eked out a 5 to 4 decision over the Bowdoin squad.

Meanwhile, the Yardling team remained undefeated by edging a strong M.I.T. outfit at its gymnasium, 15 to 12. The meet was even closer than the final result indicates, for the Freshmen won each division by a score of only 5 to 4. Vaughan, Adler, Katze, and Robinson were the outstanding Crimson fencers.
