HARVARD NEVER BECOMES FULLY DISORGANIZED

TORONTO, Ont. Feb. 22--Flashing the vaunted attack that has turned the International League hockey race into a runaway, the undefeated Toronto University sextet chalked up its seventh straight league win tonight at the expense of a fighting but outclassed Harvard team, 10 to 1.

The speedy Varsity Blues of Toronto opened the barrage of scoring at 4:33 when right winger Jack Quigley split the Crimson defense and beat Freedley easily. Defense star Bob Copp shoved in another at close range a few minutes later.

Warren Winslow put the Hoddermen back in the game, combining with Gordy McGrath and Skip Ervin at 16:40 to push the puck past Pentland in the Toronto nets. After that, however, the Crimson stickmen were simply no match for the lightning-fast Blues and struggled desperately to give harassed goalie Vint Freedley what little protection they could.

The game was a clean one, with only one penalty being meted out, but the ice was rough, slowing up both squads. The Hoddermen never became completely disorganized, but poor passing and weak shooting spoiled the few chances they had at the Toronio cage. They were on the short end of a 3 to 1 count at the end of the first period and never threatened seriously thereafter.
