GHOST OF HOLLIS WARNS THAT DORMITORY MUST BE EMPTIED

NO WRITER ATTRIBUTED

Threatening to use "supernatural powers" if his wishes are not complied with, "the ghost of Hollis Hall" warned the Yardlings in that dormitory that they must leave their rooms "within 36 hours."

The ghost explained in his message that he is an old Revolutionary soldier who is tired of living in the attic. He demanded to have the entire house for his domain.

Although the Yard Police claimed yesterday afternoon that the affair was undoubtedly the trick of some student living in Hollis, many of the Freshmen in the building feel that this is improbable.

William M. Layton, Jr. '43, who lives in Hollis, was quoted as saying, "There may be something in this ghost business." But the consensus is that Hollis is in for a snowball "Blitzkrieg" tonight.
