Pirnie, Ford, Johrde Lead Yardlings To Victory

Led by Doug Pirnie's three victories, the undefeated Freshman track team triumphed over Exeter Saturday 51 to 44. Pirnie won the 60-yard dash, 300-yard run, and broad jump and ran one leg in the winning relay.

Mitch Ford, winner of the high-jump, tied for first place with Bates of Exeter for a new school record in the pole vault at 12 feet, 5 1/4 inches, while Paul Johrde also broke a school record with 2:23.6 seconds in the 1000-yard run.
