TIGER FAVORED TO BEAT HOCKEY TEAM

Contest Tonight Settles Lake Placid Deadlock; Perkins to Play Forward

By Peter Dammann

A question mark Princeton delegation will square off with the Varsity hockey team at 8:30 o'clock tonight at the Boston Arena to revive a rivalry left deadlocked at Lake Placid in the Christmas vacation. Blowing first cold, then hot this season, the Tigers have developed more rapidly than John Harvard and will have a decided edge tonight.

After trouncing Dartmouth 7 to 3 for the first Quad defeat received by the Big Green in three years, Princeton played a 1 to 1 tie with Yale at New Haven on Tuesday night. Princeton abandoned its rapid, open attack and played a tight defensive game with the Elis for what was according to all accounts the duilest tilt of the season.

Upset Likely

Quick with their skates, the Crimson stickmen are a good looking team, and have the capacity to upset the Tiger if they avoid recent mistakes.

Hodder changed his lines again, running Forbes Perkins as an alternate in his old position as right wing on the first trio. Dave Eaton will start as center on the first line with Skip Ervin and Warren Winslow as wings, but will center the second trio during most of the game, with his former colleagues, Stacy Hulse and Prennie Willetts.

With Eaton on the second line. Winslow will center the first combine, and either Perkins or Bill Claflin will play at his wing. Bob Cox, Bob Gorham, and George Duane, who teamed to garner two of the Crimson's four points against Williams, will team together again on the third line.
